You'd Never Leave This Folding Bike Helmet Behind
I'm normally a safety first, second and third kinda cyclist. But even with my lifelong fear of cars, I'll sometimes leave the helmet at home if I don't want to lug it around an office all day. Wouldn't it be amazing if I could have the best of both worlds? You probably see where this is going.

Short film: R2-D2 adorably falls in love with a blue mailbox
Say it with me: awwwww. In a story that's a little like the first hour of Wall-E, this short film, Artoo In Love by Evan Atherton, tells a cute love story of R2-D2 and a blue mailbox. R2 starts holding picnics with it, zaps away people who want to mail things and holds an umbrella over its head when it rains.

Interstellar honest trailer rips apart Christopher Nolan's space movie
I love watching Honest Trailers' takedown of movies because they highlight actual problems, they're actually really funny and they have no sacred cows. They can skewer Michael Bay right next to burning down everyone's post-Dark Knight shrine to Chris Nolan. Here they are hilariously ripping up Interstellar.

RIP PlayStation Home, 2008-2015
PlayStation Home, one of the most ambitious (and weirdest) things Sony has ever done with video games, closes down today. It will not be missed, but it should at least be remembered.

The Pentagon Can't Account for $45 Billion It Spent in Afghanistan
The Department of Defense has spent $66 billion since 2002 rebuilding Afghanistan. But amazingly, it can't account for $45 billion of that money. That's billion with a capital B.

There Is Is Nothing Special About The Special Forces' Newest Truck
Or rather, the operators who would use the Navistar SOTV-B would want you to think there’s absolutely nothing special about it. It is the ultimate blank pick up truck for clandestine environments. And if that’s not anonymous enough for you, it can look like any truck your heart desires.

Bring Back SoundCloud's Fantastic Desktop App
With all these rich musicians making a ruckus about Jay Z’s overpriced streaming music service, I’m getting a little emotional. Not about Jay Z’s overpriced streaming music service. About the bygone golden era of streaming music’s erstwhile golden boy: SoundCloud.
